About Doormasters Garage Doors Red Deer
Red Deer's Garage Door Experts Since 1987
Who We Are
Doormasters was founded in Red Deer in 1987 and incorporated in 1993. What began as a partnership grew into a focused, independently owned business when Dan Murdock became sole owner in 2004. In 2016, the company moved to its current location. Over nearly four decades, Doormasters has built its reputation on residential and commercial overhead doors and accessories. A notable milestone came in 1997 with the invention of the Sunshine door, marking the company as a genuine contributor to the industry. Today, Doormasters operates with a clear mission: total employee and customer satisfaction, grounded in professionalism, accountability, respect, teamwork, and integrity.
A Team Built Around Doing the Work Right
Dan Murdock has built a team guided by five principles: professionalism, accountability, respect, teamwork, and integrity. Every technician at Doormasters holds certification from the International Door Association, which sets the standard for how installations and maintenance work is carried out. The company also offers 24-hour emergency service, so customers have access to qualified help when it matters most. The goal is straightforward: complete employee and customer satisfaction on every job.
